Following the creation of Democrazy, a South African satire addressing democracy, our founder Philile Ntimbane received an invitation to speak at the 2025 Drama for Life conference and festival at Wits University, which focused on the Paper Series about Satire and Social Reflection in South African Theatre.

THE WELLNESS MIC

The wellness mic is a program dedicated to promoting mental health and encouraging a healthy lifestyle. It serves as a voice for individuals struggling with mental health issues, providing a platform for artists to express themselves creatively in tackling these challenges. This initiative has successfully created a safe and supportive space where artists can freely share their experiences, emotions, and thoughts related to mental health. By harnessing the power of creativity, the wellness mic aims to raise awareness, foster understanding, and break down the stigma surrounding mental health.

TRASH TO TALENT

A fantastic recycling initiative that aims to empower children by teaching them how to repurpose cartons and create a range of fun toys. Not only does this project contribute to environmental sustainability by promoting recycling, but it also encourages healthy interaction among children. In today's digitally dominated world, where children are often glued to technological devices, the project provides a refreshing alternative for them to engage in hands-on activities that stimulate their creativity and imagination. By using cartons at home and transforming them into toys, children are not only learning the importance of recycling but also developing their problem-solving skills and fostering a sense of accomplishment.
